Golden Spectrum
This one is for my Weirdos.
This symbol and its intuitive endurance is so likable and whole. It creates a sense of balance and eternal continuity. Being Neurodivergent means a lot of things to a lot of people. Around here we associate it with mutability and variation. Universally, all beings constantly undergo repetitive change. All of us go from one place to another, to another, on a connected continuum of grief, joy, and everything in between. Understanding our inevitable propensity toward change can help us to hold a spectral perspective, and allow for a multifaceted awareness when considering how differently we all show up in this world. The more expansive our lenses, the more nuance and complexity we can hold. There is such liberation in non-dual perspectives: a kind of window into something infinite. And all things are infinite, when you consider it. All energy, and all physical mass returns or breaks down to simpler elements and gets recycled back into the earth and cosmos.
We know it as Wyrding around here.
So the very nature of change defies sameness, and simultaneously change is a universal experience. It’s a wonderfully complete feeling to consider the connection contained in that paradox.
And Gold (like most heavy metals) is Star stuff, forged inside our galaxy through nuclear fusion 200 million years ago during our earth’s formation. The 14k yellow gold wire that Full Desert Weirdo uses for these pieces is refined (not mined), which adds to the ancient feeling of and continual mutability of each piece. This gold has lived many lifetimes, much like many of us Weirdos have.
