Roof Cutouts

We had placed large plywood sections on the roof temporarily and sealed the outside with elastomeric paint but we hadn’t screwed them down yet. It was time to target the exterior roof work. First we had to make the fenestrations (the fancy word for an opening in architecture), along the side that wouldn’t have any panels. You can see the different cuts that Pops made for each of the corresponding appliances down the length of one side of the roof. The other side of the roof will be filled with solar panels.
