Battery Wiring

This was such a fun stage. The batteries had been sitting dormant for some time and we were excited to get them fired up. See the fun time-lapse below of Pops teaching me how to get it done. We wired the batteries together in parallel and then in series, then used the 4/0 wire snaked through the floor and connected them up to the charge controller/inverter that will soon be fully installed. The wire that came with the batteries wasn’t large enough so we had to cut custom lengths of wire for this stage, and it was fun getting free lessons from dad in electrical. The best part though? SEALING THE FLOOR when we were done. SO satisfying.
