Finished wall samples

Hooray!! We finally placed the order for our finished wall panels. I found these panels online after considerable research into high quality waterproof options. They are made by a company called FIBO out of Norway, and I was able to locate a distributor in the U.S. who had the styles and types that I was looking for. They are constructed of PEFC-certified, marine-grade birch wood and the company has a strong mission statement on eco friendly production and environmental impact, which was meaningful for me. They are 100% waterproof and ready to install directly onto our wood sub wall—no glue, backing, or grout necessary. We waited so long for them to arrive during the pandemic, and I can’t wait to put them up! The bathroom around the tub will be 12”x16” tile motif, the accent (kitchen) wall will be the grey concrete (without the grout joint), and the remainder of the wagon interior will be the Silver Strand light grey color. It felt cute that the title of the matte color I liked best was related to my field of production, silver fabrication. Kismet! I’ll post more photos of the installation as soon as we start getting them in!
